On Friday night I had an event. I was very sure of the clothes that I wanted to wear buuuuuut it was all black.

Don´t get me wrong, its super elegant and everything but I think my taste in clothes and colours have changed over the last couple of months and now colour rules my life.

Some time ago, I saw all over Pinterest a flower, kind of a rose, made in crochet and even leather, that girls were using to uplift their outfit.

They would use it as chocker, bracelet, belt, hair piece, etc. Let me show you some inspo below:

Sourse: Pinterest

So with that in mind, I decided to go ahead and make mine.

Materials:

  • Approximately 20 grm of any yarn and color you have around. I use Alterego from ADRIAFIL which is 100% Italian cotton - 150 gr for 385 mts a yarn.

  • 2.5 mm hook

  • Scissors

Pattern:

The pattern consists of 3 different size flowers saw together, plus a lace to tide it around your neck, waist or pulse.

Flower #1

  1. Start with a magic ring and make 12 single crochet inside. Close with a slip stich.

  2. Chain 2 and make a double crochet in the same stich. Continue by doing 2 double crochet in the same stich until the end, you should end with 24 stiches. Close with a slip stich. Cut the yarn but leave some tail.

Flower #2

Repeat step 1 and 2 from flower #1.

  1. Chain 2 and make a double crochet in the same stich. Continue by doing 2 double crochet in the same stich until the end, you should end with 24 stiches. Close with a slip stich. Cut the yarn but leave some tail. TIP: to give the flower more movement, occasionally, make 3 DC instead of just 2 here and there ;)

Flower #3

Repeat step 1, 2 and 3.

Lace:

Start by making chains until you reach between 150 cm and 200 cm. Come back all the way by doing slip stiches in every chain.

Now, saw all the pieces together, placing flower #1 on top, follow by #2 and #3. Finally, saw the lace at the back of your 3 layer flower and you are done!!

You can literally do this in 20 to 30 min.

Give it as a gift, match outfits your bestie or just uplift your plain outfit.
